If you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, panic, phobias, emotional triggers, unwanted habits or overwhelming reactions, BWRT® Level 1 is the powerful first step that helps you feel calm, in control and free again. This is the foundation of all BWRT work — the stage where we change the brain’s automatic response so you no longer react from fear, panic or old emotional patterns.
Level 1 creates fast change without reliving trauma, without long-term talking therapy, and without getting lost in your history. It works directly at the part of the brain that fires before you’re consciously aware — which is why results can be so rapid and long-lasting.
For many clients, Level 1 feels like the first deep breath they’ve taken in years.
What Is BWRT® Level 1?
BWRT® Level 1 is a structured, neuroscience-based protocol created to remove unwanted emotional reactions at their source. These reactions often appear as:
• anxiety or panic
• trauma responses
• phobias or fears
• OCD-type loops
• anger, frustration, or emotional overwhelm
• stress responses
• habits you can’t break
• spiralling thoughts
• automatic emotional triggers
Instead of analysing your past or talking through painful memories, Level 1 works with the brain’s “reactive engine” — the part that responds before you even realise what’s happening. We change the pattern at that level, so the old reaction simply stops firing.
Most people feel lighter, calmer and clearer either immediately or within a few sessions.
Who Is Level 1 For?

What Does A Session Feel Like?
BWRT Level 1 sessions are:
• calm
• structured
• focused
• private
• surprisingly gentle
You stay fully conscious and in control throughout. You do not need to relive trauma or talk about painful experiences in detail. In fact, BWRT is designed so you can keep things private — you only tell me what you’re comfortable sharing.
Most clients describe Level 1 sessions as “relief without retraumatisation.”
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Everyone is unique, but most clients need between 2 and 4 sessions for a single issue. Some feel a shift even after the first one. We’ll discuss your goals in your introductory call and create a plan that suits you.
Why Level 1 Comes Before Level 2
BWRT® Level 1 is mandatory before progressing to BWRT Level 2.
Why?
Because Level 1 clears the automatic emotional reactions.
Level 2 works on identity, deeper patterns, and long-standing emotional signatures.
Without the foundation of Level 1, the deeper work of Level 2 simply doesn’t hold in place. Level 1 prepares the brain for transformation; Level 2 takes that transformation into identity, confidence and self-worth.
Think of Level 1 as stabilising your emotional system. Level 2 is where life upgrades happen.
What Happens in an Introductory Call?
In this no-pressure call, we discuss:
• what you’re struggling with
• what you’d like to change
• how quickly you want results
• which programme fits you best (Level 1, Level 2, or BWRT Plus)
You can ask anything. The call is simply about clarity.
Sessions take place either online via Zoom or face-to-face in Guildford, Surrey, and the experience is surprisingly calm and comfortable. You’ll stay fully alert, fully in control, and you won’t be asked to relive distressing experiences. Most clients describe the session as “light,” “focused,” “relieving,” or “like something finally clicked into place.” And because BWRT® works with the brain’s natural speed, shifts can happen quickly — sometimes even during the session itself.
